There was also low demand because the population was very low. Modern technology has emerged hence the demand of equipment to serve and prepare food. There has been increase in population and so desire for more knowledge and skills hence a need for education and to meet this need schools and institutions were opened. With creation of new jobs in big towns there has been need to establish restaurants, canteen and clubs to cater for workers. Today there has been improved medical facilities hence the need for more adequate diet which enhance recovery
